Renfrew House Signing

renfrew house 18Congratulations to the Renfrew Heights community in Vancouver.  In December community residents worked closely with Coast Mental Health and Provident Health Care to ensure that the residence in the area,  that was being used as a transition place for youth, who after completing rehab from drug and/ or mental issues, were  renfrew house 4transitioning into society ,were going to be part of the community.  After several meetings a first community agreement was signed among all parties that will serve as an example for the future.

Thanks go to: Adrian Dix who helped spearhead the meetings and did the translations when required.    Vancouver Christian School for providing space for each meeting and being actively involved: Vancouver Coast Mental Health for having their vision to work with the community on the agreement:  Provident Health Care for also working with the community.

The CPC will be working with Coast Mental Health and Provident to provide a series of presentations for the community.  Education is the key to help us make the right decisions and help the youth as they transition into society.    We are very proud to be a partner in such an endeavor. It is through this kind of collaboration that we wirenfrew house 17ll be able to help everyone in our community  live fruitful lives.
