What is GeoDash?

Have you recently reported or experienced crime in your area? Do you want to gain insight to Vancouver policing activity in your community? Stay connected with GeoDash, an easily accessible mapping tool that provides an overview of policing incidents that have occurred in Vancouver. This interactive online tool aims to increase public awareness of recent criminal activity in your area. Incidents are organized into several categories based on crime type.

How GeoDash can help you:

GeoDash data is based on investigative police reports as well as crime incidents reported by members of the community.

How it works:

You report a crime by using the VPD Non-Emergency line (604-717-3321) or by visiting their website: http://vancouver.ca/police/contact/report-a-crime.html . For crimes in progress, contact 911.
The police receive your report and they conduct an investigation.
GeoDash will be updated daily with police reports.
